Honey Roasted Ginger Swede
Swedes are rich in vitamin C, minerals, and dietary fibre. Often overlooked, this versatile root vegetable makes for a tasty side dish. Accompanied with fresh ginger and a drizzle of honey this dish provides an interesting array of flavours.
- Fresh Ginger
- Olive Oil
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC (400 Fahrenheit).
- Peel the swede and chop into large chunks.
- Peel the fresh ginger and cut into pieces.
- Add to a small oven tray and drizzle with olive oil and honey.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Roast for 10 minutes.
