Creamy hummus makes a great snack and is equally delicious spread on some gluten free toast. We love adding some spice to the basic recipe for an added kick. It only takes a matter of minutes to whip up and the spice level can be adjusted to your preference.
2 Cups Cooked Chickpeas
4 tbsp Aquafaba (you can also use water)
2 tbsp Tahini
6 tbsp Olive Oil
Spices: Cayenne, Cumin, Paprika, Salt and Pepper
Juice the lemon straight into your blender or food processor.
Add chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, and spices.
Mix until smooth and creamy while adding aquafaba (or water) 1 tbsp at a time until your desired consistency is reached.
Taste and adjust the amount of spice as needed.
Serve with dipping veggies of your choice!
