Hummus is very easy to make, and once you’ve mastered the basic recipe, you can experiment with blending in an assortment of other ingredients. Consider sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts, or black beans for some fun variations of the basic recipe.
2 Cups Cooked Chickpeas
4 tbsp Aquafaba (you can also use water)
4 tsp Tahini
6 tbsp Olive Oil
Seasoning: Paprika, Salt and Pepper
Juice the lemon straight into your blender or food processor.
Add chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, and seasoning.
Blend until smooth and creamy while adding the aquafaba (or water) 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Serve in a bowl with roasted pine nuts or olive oil as decoration.
