Mixed Berry Compote
This mixed berry compote is ready in a matter of minutes and requires nothing more than frozen berries. I find the berries to be flavourful enough on their own so there’s no need for added sugar. Try this on your morning waffles and pancakes, or added to a bowl of porridge. Fresh compote is equally delicious poured straight from the pan over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1 Cup Frozen Raspberries
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
Pour your frozen berries into a small saucepan.
Cook on medium heat for roughly 10 minutes while stirring continuously.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight jar.
