Golden Dressing
This golden dressing is wonderfully versatile. It’s a great addition to a simple green salad, adds some flair to a basic bowl of quinoa, and is equally delicious drizzled on some oven-roasted vegetables. I like to make the dressing directly in the mason jar it will later be stored in as this saves having to do extra dishes.
Yield 8oz Mason Jar
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Tahini
1 Lemon (or 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar)
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
Fresh Ginger
2 tbsp Turmeric
Salt and Pepper
2 Cups Water
INSTRUCTIONS
Grab a mason jar with an airtight lid.
Scoop your tahini into the bottom.
Juice the lemon directly on top.
Add some maple syrup.
Grate a thumb of ginger into the jar.
Add a hefty amount of turmeric and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Finally pour in the water one cup at a time and mix with a spoon until the dressing runs smooth.
Place in the fridge for a while allowing the dressing to thicken.
