Quinoa Porridge
With outside temperatures dropping and winter clothes taken out of storage, it’s high time to think about cold weather recipes that will warm you up. Porridge has long been a great way to start the day. Not only does it take a matter of minutes to prepare, but also keeps you full for a long time and provides that healthy boost of energy to kick start your day.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Vegan Milk
1 Cup Quinoa Flakes
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 Apple
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat your vegan milk of choice on the stove.
Slowly pour the quinoa flakes into the water while stirring.
Once your desired consistency has been reached, remove your pot from the heat source.
Stir in the cinnamon.
Grate your apple on top of the porridge and serve immediately.
